Art Up Close

In 2010 a group of Artists in South Cheshire got together to set up an Arts festival to showcase local Artists work. In June 2011 Nantwich Festival of Arts was put on in Nantwich town centre over 3 days, showcasing a wide variety of visual and performance Arts.

Following on from the success of this venture Art Up Close was formed to act as a hub for quality Artists. We now number over 100 Artists.

We have built a reputation as innovative, creative and service driven contract furniture and lighting dealers.

We enjoy our role as part of the architecture and design industry and are rewarded by those who appreciate our knowledge of furniture and how it influences the space within which we work.

Our clients are forward thinking and ambitious; from global businesses to internet start-ups, they are as excited as we are to transform their workplaces.

Our unique Shoreditch showroom is the perfect space to review furniture samples from any of the 250 manufacturers with whom we work. Every two months the showroom transforms into a gallery exhibiting work from both established and up and coming artists.

FloatArt London is an educational platform for graduate artists. Showcasing graduate work while providing career advice and support for emerging artists from across the UK.

We hold an annual graduate event, where, through a programme of talks and seminars delivered by experienced artists and successful business people, the graduates receive guidance and career advice. Through this programme, graduates learn how to create important business relationships and seek future opportunities. We are providing a platform from which emerging artists can launch their art careers.

We also give new graduates the opportunity to exhibit their work in a collective exhibition, which is free and open to the public. The event promotes these new graduates and their work, allowing them to receive a huge amount of exposure at the very beginning of their art careers.

Throughout the exhibition, the featured artists will also be eligible to win the FloatArt London prize, one which is decided through a public vote. The winner receives the FloatArt London 2015 award and £3000 towards their future career.
